Make improvements

This section is easy enough. You make improvements based on your feedback! The important thing to remember about making improvements to your work is that you will need to get more feedback! ARRGGHH! It is a cycle of feedback to improvement back to feedback. This continues until you and your teacher is happy with your work.

It is tempting to leave your work as it is. However you will never get the best marks and you may have a very nasty shock when you start work in the real world!

This is why the quality of your feedback is so important. If you do not get ideas on how to improve your work then you may never be able to get it to the grade you want to.

Consider the following example. A student created the following piece of work which was supposed to invite people to a dancing competition.

Before the student made any improvements he had to get feedback. The feedback he got was -

Positives

Improvements

Here the feedback has suggested some ideas for the student to look at. It has highlighted strengths and weaknesses and suggested areas the student could focus on. The final invitation has taken these ideas onboard.

Ask your test buddy for feedback on your improvements!
