Step 4 - Creating a report

Once you have gathered information from your database it is time to create the publication. This can be done either as a report or as a seperate document. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages.

Make sure you have taken screen shots before you move on. It will be difficult to go back if you have not.

Reports are more difficult to produce but you will not have to copy and information. Sometimes you will have to use a report so you may not get a choice! Your teacher will inform you on which way to do this.

To create a report you need to follow the steps below -

  1. Create the report [view]
  2. Change background + fonts [view]
  3. Move repeating fields [view]
  4. Add suitable text and images [view]
