Publications

You will be asked to create between four and five publications. They differ from year to year but the way you go about them will always remain the same. Before you start you should research the topic and try out some designs. This includes -

• Colours
• Logos
• Style/theme
• Background
• Possible images

Just because this is ICT it does not mean you should not do some designs on paper! Sometimes it is easier to scribble on some ideas on paper before you get onto the computer.

|Once you have some ideas you should follow the steps below -

Step 1 - Find out what is required

Step 2 - Update your plan with timings

Step 3 - Research examples on the internet

Step 4 - Decide on a colour scheme

Step 5 - Create a background

Step 6 - Add content

Step 7 - Get feedback

Step 8 - Make improvements
