Step 5 - Convert files

Before you start adding content you need to ensure that all of your files are supported by the moderators tool kit. The following files are supported -

Files in ANY OTHER format can not be marked and you will get no credit for them!

This means you may need to convert some of your files.

Publisher files (.pub)

These can be saved as an image file. This gives a good mix of high quality and small file size. To convert you need to click on save as. Then on the file type dropdown choose JPEG. This can be seen in the image to the right.

Word files (.doc or .docx)

These need to be converted to PDF files. This can be done using a special converter. You can find these converters on the internet or your teacher can point you in the right direction. Microsoft has a plug in which allows you to use "Save As", like publisher and JPEG files.

Make sure you have cropped and resized your screen shots. If you have not they will look terrible after converting.
