Step 4 - Add contingency time and holidays
There are some days when you will not be working. For example when you are off to Barbados for your summer holidays you are most likely not going to be doing your ICT work! Also when you have your English coursework you may do less ICT homework.
We need to add these to your plan. Bare in mind that some holidays you will still need to do your ICT work so you should not add every holiday.

If the task starts before the holiday it does not matter. Still put the start of that task to be the date after the holiday. You can always say in your comments that you have done this |
Contingency time
Contngency time is added to each task to give a bit of breathing room. If you get ill then you will not be working and would fall behind. If you added extra time into your plan then you will not fall behind so much! If you do not use your contingency time then great! Well done! If you do use it then it does not matter. That is what it is there for.
The best way to add contingency time is to add a extra task to your plan called contingency. The contingency video shows how to do this. You should give roughly an extra 10% of extra time for each main task.
